Gil Edwards has been telling stories his entire life — through music, through words, through pictures, and through the kind of quiet wisdom that only comes from living fully and paying attention.
A performer for over 55 years, Gil has played stages from intimate living rooms to international venues, writing songs that stick to your ribs and performances that people talk about for years.
The Whispering Forest Stories series grew out of a lifetime of watching how stories shape children. Alongside the books, his underground comic series Depressed Chakra & The Knuckleheads reflects a different side of his creative personality: raw, funny, and refreshingly honest. Under the pen name Ray Gilbert, he writes non-fiction that asks the questions most people are afraid to put into words.
Whether you're booking a performance, ordering a signed book, or just want to say hello — Gil loves hearing from readers, fans, and fellow creators.
